Description

My introduction to Bedlingtons began in 1982 upon meeting the Krisdale Bedlingtons and the litter there at the time which contained a dog who would later become Int.Ch.Krisdale's Camelot. Since then there have been many shows, many friendships and many dogs.

Throughout the years I have imported several dogs including three from the Rathsrigg Kennels in Yorkshire UK and the latest from the LAMZ kennel in the USA.

We rarely breed these days but check out the puppies page for the latest information!

Oakenshield

Description

Oakenshield has been breeding Bedlington Terriers for fourteen years. All puppies are home-raised with love and care. Producing only one or two litters a year ensures care is taken to socialize the puppies with children, initiate basic house training and vocabulary. Parents are liver biopsied and genetically markered.

Selective breeding is done to ensure excellent conformation, good health and a loving temperment is evident in all of our dogs. Any interested puppy buyers should be prepared to liver biopsy their dog at one year of age, provide a fenced yard and be willing to give love, attention and training to their new family member- an Oakenshield treasured puppy.
